Slot Rally - 26th June 2025
.
The most popular car tonight was the Ninco Jaguar XK120 in various guises with three of them.
A pair of Mini’s, two Metro 6R4’s and a couple of Porsche 997 GT3’s.
.
I think we all just Rally the cars we enjoy driving and if there’s competition in a class then there’s going to be a class winner:
Car comparisons...
All in all it was good to have a good turnout and two groups which meant we finished at a sensible time.

I think we all just Rally the cars we enjoy driving and if there’s competition in a class then there’s going to be a class winner:
- Back2Basics 4WD was won by Brian’s Ninco Scooby ahead of Mike’s SCX Skoda (apparently pronounced Skodda as was mentioned a few times tonight).
- Standard Small Classic was won by Kev’s Ninco Jag XK120 on a podless 3D chassis ahead of Ed’s hopped-up Ninco Jag XK120.
- Standard 2WD was won by Mike’s Ninco Citroen C4 ahead of Ed’s Ninco Mercedes.
- ProStock Classic was won by Andy’s NSR Ford GT40 ahead of Kev’s Scalextric 3D chassis Triumph TR7.
- ProStock 2WD was popular as ever, won by Mike’s NSR Porsche 997 ahead of Brian’s similar car with his other car in this class (Scaley 3D chassis Megane) a few seconds behind and followed by Gav’s MBslot Ferrari F430.
- Open Small Classic was just as popular as ProStock 2WD as Andy’s Ferrari 250 GTO finished a few seconds ahead of Kev’s Mini Cooper, followed by Ed’s Mini Clubman and Gav’s AC Cobra that lost a driver (or navigator) on Car Park Chaos stage…we won’t ask what happened!
- Open 2WD was won by Andy’s Policar Ferrari F40 and eventually followed by Brian’s Peugeot 206 then Gav’s Porsche 996
