The 131 Abarth is, like the Escort, a rally car from my favourite era.
Back then, cars were less modified and more traceable to their street version.
Indeed, the SCX 131 is a very nice car to slide around on a rally slot track.
The newer versions with the shorter FR42 series motor need about 7 grams of lead, placed in the front axle stub holes in the floorpan.
This makes the car better balanced.
