Race report - 29th Feb 2024 - Club Revoslot followed by F1
.
Six Revo racers tonight with some close racing and scores...plus a few too many 'offs'.
.
Andy's best run was with the Marcos in yellow lane, for some reason this car was shooting off track and under the bridge, I think the drivers that followed in that lane backed off as the lap times were down for that car.
.
Kev's best run was with the Viper in blue lane, Andy & Brian seemed to have problems with this one.
.
Mike's best run was with the Marcos in yellow lane and his fastest laps by some margin.
.
Brian's best run was the Porsche in the red lane, best by two laps over the Marcos but lost loads of time with the blue Viper.
.
Gav's best run was with the yellow Marcos and another who lost loads of time with the blue Viper.
.
Ed's best run was with the Viper in the blue lane and not far off Brian's score with that car.
.
Ed had to leave after racing the Revos so we changed the running order with two drivers and three marshals.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Classic F1 plus F1 (plus Mike's Connaught)
.
Gav raced his Policar Ferrari, the sole Classic F1 car raced tonight.
.
Kev raced his MB/Allslot 'Black Bull' and was involved in some side-by-side racing with Andy's NSR F1 in Heat #6
.
A pair of NSR F1's, Andy vs Brian, Andy's was flying round tonight whilst Brian recovered from the earlier Club Revos to push his NSR F1 round probably close to the fastest he's ever got a car round this track before.
.
Mike raced his favourite Connaught, not really in any class tonight but gave Gav's Ferrari 312 B2 more than a run for it's money in Heat #7.
Next week is Group 5 followed by NSR Mosler 'Club Challenge' #2
