..................a replacement for a badly battered, not very well repaired, and probably not long for this world, C2920 "Old Gold LVX941J"

As the Scalextric car in that ^^^ comment may well fall apart sooner rather than later - ie the next time I crash it - and I really need to keep a Roger Clark car in my collection, how could I resist this.........

   

Advertised on eBay as "spares or repair", all that is wrong with it is one broken mirror (I've got spares) and broken rear bumper (got a spare for that as well).  Everything else is fine - motor seems good, all the lights work, all the auxiliary lamps are intact.  I've straightened the crooked aerial and wiper.
Considering the asking price of new ones (north of £70 inc delivery), and me not wanting the Daily Express liveried alternative (north of £50 delivered), this one was a bit of a bargain when the spares won't cost me anything.
