We were finally back at the Barn last night. Twenty-one people raced - including debuts for Isaac, Kevin and Steve - plus Simon and Jack popped in to say hello.

Race Coordinator was used for the first time on a competitive evening and everyone gave a thumbs-up to the change. Here were the heat scores and qualifying order...

The top three - Jerome, Deborah and Matthew - were a class apart on the night, joined by 'genuine' junior Ryan in the A Final...

This was the result after two minutes of scintillating racing...

Although Jerome (and Oliver) still score junior points in the extended 2020-22 season, junior medals are awarded to racers who were younger than sixteen at the start of April... That means a huge round of applause to Deborah for her fourth A final win and to Ryan on his second HO junior medal...

Either Deborah has shrunk or Ryan has grown about a foot in the past 24 months!

Here's the results of all the finals...

It was a little bit of a late finish due to general rustiness and getting used to Race Coordinator, but the new rotation meant that everyone felt involved throughout the evening. A big thank you to everyone who came along after a long two years away. Special thanks goes to the set-up and tear-down crews and to Ash for running Race Control so smoothly.

Expect a full report and video later today, plus updated 2020-22 championship tables tomorrow.
