About Google Translate...
Hi Qman,
Yes, I also have Acrobat reader (on a Windows 10 machine) and no special software.
I'll tell you how I do this:
1 - Open the (complete) magazine (in this example DRS Magazine 12) with Acrobat reader
2 - Search and select the text you want to translate (in this example text from page 10)
3 - Place the cursor at the beginning of the text and press the left mouse button
4 - Pull down the mouse until the entire text you want to translate turns blue (color)
5 - Right click, a small window will appear and choose Copy and click left
Now you have copied the selected text...
6 - Start Google Translate, choose the language French for the French text and English in the right pane
7 - Right click and select Paste in the window
Now you have dropped the French text in the left pane and in a split second
the translated text appears in the right pane
If you want to keep the translated text, you can copy and paste it (as in point 4.5) in
for example Notepad.
I hope this helps...
If anyone knows a better, perhaps a simpler solution, I'd love to hear it.
I use the Dutch version of Google Translate called Google Vertalen...
