Hi all,
Found two more digital modelling magazines.
Unfortunately no slot racing magazines, but model railroading magazines.
Both are rich in scenery ideas, techniques such as 3D printing and much more... (average 40-90 pages)
The N Scale Railroading magazine focuses on making models in 1:160 scale.
The Trainini magazine focuses on making models in scale 1:220 and
will be published in the German language and a separate English version.
So they are about small scales, but in my opinion the techniques described can be applied to any scale.
Both magazines are published monthly and are legally free to download or read online!
See for yourself if it could be something for you...
N Scale Railroading magazine (1:160 scale)
Publisher & Editor : Kirk Reddie
website : https://nscalerailroadingmagazine.com/
download : https://nscalerailroadingmagazine.com/wp...-DEC-B.pdf
contents:
Page 04. New Products.
Page 14. Mike Pagano shares part 4 of his write up of the new Roco/ Fleischmann Z21 DCC system.
This part covers their auto-reverse system.
Page 16. Large passenger terminals can help define an area even after the rails are pulled up.
My third version of Seattle Union Station is an ~accurate block of wood.
Several of us discussed how to make an actual model.
Ron Nowka came up with the concept of decopaging resized photographs onto a wood frame.
The resolution up close is rough but at arms length the model looks great with faux 3D parts and scale bricks.
Details will be added but Ron’s method saved time and money.
Page 35. One of our most popular recent features is the FREMO americaN layout featured in #127. They are back!
