I suppose I need to post before we do the change.

My Power supply is 'home made'. Well almost. I was asking what to use back in the day on SFI. And we had a bright chap say - why dont you use a computer powers supply.
How I asked - Take it out - join these two wires and add in an ammeter/voltmeter with a regulator.....

Pffft - really I though - me with 2 left hands ???? Well those simple instuctions worked and voila - it runs 2 cars, used as powersupply for my tyre truer, runs in cars and motors..... works well!!
