The Delta is a fairly important car as it replicates the winning debut of the Group A Delta that went on to establish a long series of World Rally Championships.
It would be fabulous if Team-Slot move forwards from the HF 4WD to the HF integrale, thereby filling the gaps of the available Lancia Slot-Cars.

Hi Leo,

We always should keep in mind that the Rallye Monte Carlo debuting Lancia was not a legal Group A car.
It became successful because Audi did not want to be unfair and didn't homologate their long-wheel base Audi Quattro into Group A.
At the beginning of 1986 Lancia and Audi both had not produced the for Group A required 5000 cars within 12 months.
Besides this the Lancia used a lot of non-homolagated parts and not allowed holes in the front for better cooling of the turbo engine.
If Audi would have homologated their Quattro, it would have been maybe even more successful than the Lancia.
We will never know.
