I'm into bodies

It does look cute , narrow tyres and a hot rewind will make for an interesting drive !!!

Ronnie has allowed me a few minutes off from hedge trimming duties so I cut the headlights out. Probably a bit late in the process considering that the paint could be chipped but it went OK.

Final crisp up and trim the wheel arches and then onto a decent finish.

Hedge trimming . Can't help you there I'm afraid , strictly lawns .A pretty little car though .

So far Ronnie has told me off for:

Not cutting enough off.
Not getting the top dead flat.
Not getting the sides dead flat - "wavey" she says

And most important.....why don't you bag up the trimmings as you go?

My reply about that being her job............................

Dangerous Gordon ,very dangerous , I must admit I make more mess tidying up than actually doing the job in the first place  Tappingfoot

I've added the bonnet louvres but have chickened out from doing the tiny ones behind the side windows.

I'll give the paint a few days to harden off properly and then the hard work begins - hate doing glazing. I need to find some decent wheels. I'm short of 24th scale bits.

Colin (Wraith) sent me the transfers for the Lotus and, being the twit I am, I couldn't resist fitting them in spite of the fact that the glazing isn't finished and the chassis isn't fitted!

No doubt I will find some way of damaging them when I try and finish the car.
