Well, I did mean the Post Office/LaPoste but you are right anyway
The track is mucky. Must get the vacuum out. The racing line for the middle lane is OK though!
Wet and cold is right too. We have the fires going to add a bit of cheer, get fed up with looking out at grey, grey, grey. Our snug warms up as soon as the sun shines, even this time of year, but it's hidden behind layers of cloud so it's chilly in here without the fire.

Haven't posted any of my builds of late but then, there haven't been many. Good weather has bought the usual "now the sun is out, you can mow the grass" blackmail.
Being in the sun is OK but that damned green stuff, not to mention the weeds, just keeps growing. Why can't we just develop real grass that gets to three inches and stops, I don't know! Have they tried?
Anyway, here's the latest, a BRM V16. Just waiting for the transfers of the badge to arrive and it's almost done. Just have to figure out how to do the buckles on the bonnet straps.

Would aluminium foil work Gordon ? Get Ronnie to contact me when all this is over and I'll nip across and do the lawn . I won't cycle , the lycra does nothing for me at the moment !!!

Not sure about the aluminium but I've managed by tinning some wire. Not too bad, I'll post a pic when it's all finished!
Wouldn't want to drive Ronnie mad with desire so you'd better leave the lycra at home then

Slowly getting there
Replaced gears and they now mesh, but it is a rewound 13UO and it gets quite hot so may need a change. Still got to mount to the body. I had to ground away some of the tunnel to fit motor and the prop shaft.

Nice looking wheels.
I'm really pleased that you are getting it mobile. I did spot it on your shelves in one pic recently!
