The new free September 2025 edition of Trackside Model Railroading magazine is available now...
Another great model railroad magazine that comes out every month with a Free Edition (34 pages).
Trackside Model Railroading is published by Ross and Jenny Waters (Digital Magazine | Trackside Model Railroading)
This magazine mainly consists of one or double page photos of beautiful layouts and not much text.
The paid Premium Edition now has this month 108 pages. Read online or download this premium pdf version of the magazine.
You can only read the free edition online. No download. 
If you create a free account, you also have access to 2 previous free editions.
Still available this month to view these older releases: Trackside Model Railroading July 2025 and Trackside Model Railroading August 2025.
The current free edition is replaced by a new one on the 20th of each month.
The subscription to the premium edition of the digital magazine costs only $19.99 for one year (for 12 issues!).

Perhaps as a slot race hobbyist you can also find here some inspiration or ideas to incorporate into your track.

The new free 69 page, issue number 242, September 2025 Trainini magazine for 1:220 scale (Z scale) model trains is available now.
This is about a small scale, but in my opinion, the techniques described can be applied to any scale.
Trainini magazine is published monthly by Publisher & Editor : Holger Späing

Great to create a garden or park layout with these little  trains on your racetrack...

Hi all,

Now available the free 78 page issue number 5.0, October 2025 of the New Tracks Modeler magazine by Thomas Farrell, Jr., Editor, Host & Director of NTM.

The magazine is mainly model railroad related. Very divers content of high quality. 
In my opinion covering very interesting techniques, usually also applicable within the slot racing hobby.
Look for yourself!

Most of the images in this thread are not showing for me. All I'm seeing is a message saying "Content not viewable in your region".

I'm guessing this is due to the current disagreement between the UK ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) and Imgur.

Apparently the ICO have threatened to fine Imgur if they don't introduce age verification, and Imgur have responded by blocking any content in the UK.

It's such a shame, as it's good to see a page or two from each magazine. The magazine publishers will have taken time to choose the best photo, and obviously ePilot has made the effort to upload all of them, to create this wonderful library of slot car and railway modelling.

Obviously all of the links to the magazines should still be valid, and anybody outside the UK should still be able to see the images.

But it feels the photobucket debacle all over again, where valuable forum content is diminished by actions completely beyond our control.

I've long since stopped relying on free image hosting websites, why would you when you can do your own image grabs without having to buy or even install any software (PC, don't know about Mac) then upload using the forum image tools.

I've just gone back through the last 5 pages in this thread and can see all the images.  I know the Isle of Man isn't in the UK but we're not in the EU either.

Thanks for your comments.
I've changed the images on the last page (55).
So, no longer from Imgur, but saved on the site itself.
I hope you can now view the images in the UK.
From now on, I will no longer use Imgur.
I'd appreciate any other suggestions or comments.
I made a mistake in the last Trainini post, adding the wrong images. How can I remove them?
