Above file downloaded from Cults and rescaled to 1/32, underside trimmed, rear sectioned for vertical printing and posts added so not an excessive amount of work to get to a slot shell.
Created a IL chassis for the S can motor to slide under, and passed the parts over to Lee at Falcon Raceways to clean up, assemble and paint/decal as below on the Falcon Raceways track.
File from web, modified to de bumper etc, added an interior and headlamps plus an IL Boxer chassis, printed, painted, decaled & glazed ready to go racing for the Goodwood class at the local club.
This Cheetah is taken from a 3D scan of a resin shell I picked up at Cobham. Recently I did a chassis for a club members George Turner Cheetah and realised that the resin one I had was out of proportion compared to the George Turner shell, being too short and over wide. Much work in CAD followed to lengthen the shell, reduce the width and add flared arches as per some of the cars raced.
The shell before modification as scanned from the resin shell.
And after with interior, lights, engine intake detail, wheel inserts, petrol caps and grills added plus a chassis similar to the one I did for the George Turner version.
