What 3DP is on your printer?

Those of us who have been 3D makers for any length of time already know the cost and limitation of scanning, those who are relatively new to this game should have realistic expectations of what's available for hobby use. The same is true of cnc machinery, yes you can buy cheap machines £££ but they won't do the same job as an industrial grade machine ££££££.

Done loads of 3D printing but this is one of the first parts I have done from someone else's modeling CAD work.

I will be doing some Formula Junior steering assembly parts soon, I expect the carbon fibre filled PLA will hold up but we will see.

Do you like PTEG? I may like to try that material soon, my machine does not have a heated bed though.

PETG has very good layer adhesion and does have a tendency to 'string' - not as much as Nylon and not as strong as Nylon but much easier to print.

Without a heated print bed you'd have problems!
