I thought there were fewer exhibits this year but still plenty to do, see and buy. I always go on the Sunday because it is quieter and it is easier to play on the various tracks but I was told it was absolutely heaving with people on Saturday. Had an entertaining chat with Phil Smith as always. As an avid (ironic) Eurovision fan he was grumpy because it clashed with Gaydon and he missed most of it. He is campaigning for a different date next year! He reckons more people come on Saturday mainly for the swapmeet so they don't miss out on the 'bargains'. It never occurs to them that the traders have already hoovered most of them up before it even opens.
