I have 2 questions I hope y'all can help with.
!. I bought the Ultimate Racer 3.0. Trying to set up a track but I can't find the 2 piece Double Lane Change track in the library. Any ideas?
2. Does the Carrera control unit have an auto shut off? I bought the wireless controllers, trying to charge them, but keep coming back and everything is off. Help?
Thanks

From my experience the Carrera CU does have a automatic shut off. I found it to be very annoying because the controllers wouldn't charge, so I took a computer atx power supply and powered the charger ports off of 12v from the atx supply. This way I can charge the controllers long enough to get a full charge. I tested the charger output at track voltage and it was 5 volts which means to me it has a 5 volt regulator in the charger so powering off of 12 volts should do no harm. This worked for me but use at your own risk.

I think it's done as a single piece in the Carrera Digital 132 library, ref. 30347

Kevin, got this info from another forum,
To turn off the sleep mode, hold fuel while you turn it on. One beep means sleep is off, two beeps means sleep is on. I had to do this the other day for the same reason.

Thanks Jason. I have that piece. I guess I just need to remember to use a std straight when I use it in a layout plan.

Thank you for that. That is handy. I will probably leave it as is because my kids love to forget to shut the track off.

I'm not following you. Is that not the right piece?
If not I can easily make up another piece for your library, if you let me know what you need.
