The next section to get an update to the new format is the Pit Lane. Or at least it used to be called the Pit Lane, but we've gone a little further with this one, with a rebrand, a renaming, and more importantly lots of new content.

We've renamed it the "Chronicle" and added more of Brian's interesting articles from the forum, to make a hopefully coherent section that officially documents some of the history of our hobby, as told by our very own ex-editor of the NSCC Journal.

So, as well as the detailed history of Maxi Models, the history of Vanquish, and the dubious decisions made by Scalextric and SCX, we've added sections on the History of the NSCC, the origins of the UK Slot Car Festival, and the Ultimate Hillclimb.

The next candidate for tweaking and treatment was the ARC Pro Guide. This section turned out to be a massive, unexpected bonus.

I had a vague recollection that I might have made a tentative start on the reformatting before getting sidetracked, but when I looked, I found that I'd actually completed about 95% of the work, and only had a bit more to do.

Obviously that doesn't say much for my memory, but on this occasion, it was a bit of a result.
