The good news is that the strip and all the car transporters survived the nasty storms on the south coast this weekend.
However, due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control, the schedule for this week's racing will need to be moved back one day...
That means qualifying and some racing will take place Wednesday, but the Street Stock finals will be carried over to Thursday. Still looking at getting cars back in the post on Saturday morning. Think of it as an
extra day of drag racing excitement!
In the meantime, here's a cute cat in slot car box pic...
Oh, and if you want any cars to stay over until December, please let me know asap... Rose is happy to keep an eye on them for you.

As long as Rose doesn’t mind my crew would like to remain for the duration.
Looking forward to some exciting race action!

The opening race of the Winter Series has been delayed slightly - put it down to Covid-chaos - but that does mean we'll have quite a few cars on the start line that wouldn't have made it otherwise. The final transporter - from Jeff in Texas - is due to roll in any minute now.
The updated schedule (which may still change!) is something like this...
Wednesday 18 November: NHRA 4-Gear qualifying and eliminators.
Thursday 19 November: Best-in-show, Match-Racing Round 1, Micro Scalextric Super Stock qualifying and eliminators.
Friday 20 November: Match-Racing Round 2 & 3, Micro Scalextric Street Stock qualifying and eliminators.
Race coverage will be start here around 5-5.30pm each evening.

Update: No action tonight, but we are ready to roll in the morning. Expect news and racing throughout Thursday afternoon and evening. What we don’t get done tomorrow will roll over to Friday - probably Street Stock.
And Jeff’s cars did arrive this afternoon! Thanks to Clive for getting them on the road from Norfolk so quickly

Apologies - we seem to have entered some sort of time warp this week... The calendar says it's Thursday and the HO Drag Racing should have finished by now - but it hasn't even started!
At the moment, I'm seeing that as a bonus - the fun is still ahead of us.
In the meantime, no action tonight... but tune in tomorrow - you should be pleasantly surprised.

It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
Let's do the time warp again.
