Bit of a surprise at my local hobby shop (Time Tunnel Models) this morning - new SCX/Scalextric Compact has reached the UK along with SCX/Scalextric Advance. Compact sets show as "Wireless".

You are so lucky to have a local hobby shop. The one nearest me in Wisbech Cambridgeshire, closed down for the COVID lock down and has now closed completely
.Yet another empty shop in a town centre.

Yes, its a worry that local shopping is in danger due to the pandemic. Time Tunnel Models are essentially an online dealer with an open front door. They are handy for urgent needs like paint and their prices are very competitive so ideal. About 12 miles away but a nice rural drive.
