Hello,
I was just wondering what should be my first track piece additions to my carrera 132 digital track. I just have the standard 60 corners and basic straights and so wondered what pieces I should be looking to add to my set with first? Any suggestions would be grateful.

You could check out the 'track plans' section of this website to see which one takes your fancy and buy pieces accordingly.
I love puttering with gears

a 4 pack of r2 plus a 6 pack of r3 and a 12 pack of r4 that will give you heeps of alternatives ,especially if you combine one of each in a corner ie. r1-r2-r3 OR r3-r2-r1

I like the look of the "Crossing" which could be used in a variety of ways and add a bit of interest.
Item Ref: 20020587
(I do not have one but I think it comes with Armco type barrier strips)

Some wider radius turns should probably be on your shopping list - you'll be able to run the cars a little faster into (and out of) the corners and you can build some 'compound' corners as crustypop suggested. That makes the layout more varied and interesting.
If you're using the fuel simulation on the Digital Control Unit (or in the app), then a pit lane will make things much more realistic.
More lane changers too
You might also find you need some outer borders on some of the corners so you can drift the cars out.
Have fun
