Bit late with the updates but:

January saw in a new calendar of racing at Viking SCC and opened with the familiar favourite of Slot It Group C. It's always a joy to see the variety of classic group c cars in iconic liveries.

Cars are run stock with Slot It silicone rear tyres which keeps it a very evenly matched class.

   

   

   

By the end of the month the standings were:

1st: Wayne H - Nissan R89C
2nd: Darren C - Porsche 962C
3rd: Ade C - Mazda 787B

The support class for January 2022 was Classic Muscle Cars:

The 1970 Camaro Z28 is still a firm favourite in this class, and it's low and wide profile make it hard to beat. There were still quite a few '69 Camaro's dotted around the grid; but a break from the sea of bow ties came in the form of Ade and Nick's respective Ford Falcon XC's and Darren's Ford Falcon XY (although half way through the month Darren shelved the skinny Ford and joined the Z28 crew in favour of his gorgeous orange Joe Chamberlain '69 Camaro).

   

   

   

   

Standings at the end of the month were:

1st: Skippy - '70 Camaro
2nd: Wayne H - '70 Camaro
3rd: Ade C - Ford Falcon XC
