- New 3D Forum Since 3D printing is such a rapidly expanding part of the hobby, we decided to open up a forum especially for all things 3D, where you can ask questions, share your experience, or show what you’ve done.
Slot Cars

- New SRC Capri SRC have released the first photos of their new Capri. The unusual livery promoted the film Le Grand Bazar from the French comedy troupe Les Charlots, and was driven by Jean-Pierre Rouget and Phillippe Routier in the 1973 Tour de France Automobile.


- 1961 Sunbeam Alpine Racer George Turner’s first Sunbeam Alpine model is now available. It is based on a club racer and comes with a full interior, a driver (with legs!), roll bar, and even a gear knob.


- BRM NSU TT Historic Racers These two new 1:24 scale NSU TT models from BRM feature liveries from the Hockenheim Historic meet. The NSU TT Trophy is a highly enjoyable race at these events – and you can recreate it on any 1:24 or 1:32 track with these BRM ‘Mini-Saloons’.
Automotive History

- Shelby Cobra Daytona CSX2287 The prototype Cobra Daytona had quite a history – from Ferrari-beater to Bonneville record-breaker – and was owned by a slot car entrepreneur and a music producer… Then it disappeared. The story of the CSX2287 – now resident in the Simeone Collection in Philadelphia – is told on the CNN Style website.

- Birkett Six-Hour Relay 2021 The UK’s largest annual motor race and the traditional end of the club racing season took place at Silverstone on Sunday. The Birkett Six-Hour Relay celebrates 70 years in 2021 – its unique format bringing together 70 teams and an eclectic mix of over 300 cars. There’s only one way to fully understand the event – and that’s to watch the coverage!

- British Touring Car Championship 2021 Another thrilling season of British saloon car racing is over. The champion has been crowned and the runners-up are licking their wounds and preparing for next year. It all kicks off again at Donington in April.

- 2021 American Grand Prix No spoilers here… This was a bit of a late one for European viewers – and those relying on the Channel 4 highlights show had to wait until Monday morning. Still, I’m sure plenty of F1 fans managed to work it into their schedule.

- 2021 W Series Champion Crowned Alice Powell and Jamie Chadwick went into the final weekend of the W Series level on points. Who would get the job done and be crowned 2021 champion? Find out on the series website.
