Using Track Sections

This adds a section of the type defined in the Section Type List1N3TX8J is added to the end of the layout. This section also becomes the current section. Adding fails if the distance between lanes changed from the last but one section.
This function is also provided by the popup menu. The menu is invoked by clicking the right mouse button.

The current section is replaced by a section of the type defined in the section Type List1N3TX8J . The lane distance on both ends must fit the connected sections.
Note the special behaviour when using multi-lane layouts.

Deletes the currently selected section. If the layout is a multi-lane layout or the section to be deleted is part of a flyover, more sections may be deleted. The complete behaviour of multi-lane layouts is described here6AJ6MU.
If deleting a section would lead to two sections with a different lane distance, the deletion fails.
This functionality is also available in the main menu and the popup menu (right mouse click). You can also use the “Del” – Key instead.

Use this buttons to navigate through the sections of the layout. Alternatively you can also select the current section by clicking it in the layout. Note that in multi-lane layouts only the sections of lanes 1&2 are taken into account. Nevertheless the section(s) containing lanes 3&4 are selected as well.

Changes the direction of the selected curve. Please also see multi-lane layouts6AJ6MU.
If the direction of a curved section that is part of a flyover is changed, all other curved sections inside this flyover are changed as well.
Changing direction of a looping is only possible if a looping for the opposite direction has been configured for the track system. In this case the looping is replaced with the one for the opposite direction.
This functionality is also available in the main menu and the popup menu (right mouse click). You can also use the “Ctrl-R” – Key combination instead.

Using this function you can add track borders to the currently selected section. This assumes that the border parts have been configured accordingly in Manage/Track Systems7XTIWS . Note that border parts are always added for the complete section, even if there are more than one border parts needed for one track section.
Example: The standard straight of the Ninco-System is 40cm long. The longest straight border parts are 20cm longs. When adding a border to a standard straight in the track editor, 2 borders are used. The use of only one border section in this case (at the beginning of the section) is not supported.
This function is also provided by the popup menu. The menu is invoked by clicking the right mouse button.
Curb functions are only available if at least one track system used in the current layout has a curb section defined to it.

This function places track border sections automatically. Track borders set before are left untouched. Track borders are positioned in the following places:
- Outside on all curves
- Before all curves on the outside at a length defined in the Track Editor Options dialog16SROVO (parameter “Border length before curves”).
- After all curves on the outside at a length defined in the Track Editor Options dialog16SROVO (parameter “Border length after curves”).
Curb functions are only available if at least one track system used in the current layout has a curb section defined to it.

Removes all track border sections from the layout.

These functions are used to add or remove fences to the sections. Fences are always added or removed for the whole section. Curb end parts cannot have assigned fences to them.

This is a simple undo/redo functionality. Use “Undo” to return to the layout as is has been before the last function called within the track editor. This can be called multiple times. Use “Redo” to undo a previous “Undo”-operation.
These functions operate on all track editor functions. Undo can also be called by pressing Ctrl-Z.

Use this functions to zoom the layout display.
