Model Car Science was one of the most popular American slot car publications, and was published from June 1963 to July 1972. It was merged with companion publication Model Car & Track in January 1968.
The magazine's contents focused on static model cars as well as slot cars, featuring product reviews, model news, slot tracks, and construction techniques.
