A small tip: I have had to replace a lot of the signage on my track because it was very badly faded. The reason - UV light. There are no windows in my garage so it was not sunlight that did it, the culprit was the 8ft twin fluorescent light fitting.
The left hand sign is a freshly printed one and the right hand one is the result of 12 month's exposure. Now the garage was just about the only part of my home which was not lit by LEDs so, before replacing the signage, I fitted a high output single 6ft LED strip-light like THIS. LEDs do not emit UV so the new signs are fade free after 6 months with the added bonus that the new fitting consumes 1/3rd of the electricity with the same light output.
