Are these the greatest slot car ever made??? Very very possibly.

Before you all go off half-cocked - they are detailed - fantastically, and hugely expensive.

Have a look at their site and see the cars.

Velasor Slot cars

Lets not debate price or speed, after all they are models of cars in the early 20th century.  Just admire their beauty.

Agreed they are gorgeous models, but the tyres and hats are just a little too white ...

I take it all back .... that is just out of this world, fabulously obsessive detail ...... Cool

Well Greg, that’s over 400 euro’s worth of detail ...

If I read it correctly - is the 400 for the kit? or RTR?

Beautiful cars and beautiful workmanship to create them. Objects of desire.

Velasor translates as "candlelight". Difficult to find any info on the company but it looks like their origins are in Wargaming? Linky below has pictures and videos.

@Abie321, you can check yourself, https://velasor.com/?lang=en

The 400 Euro was a pre-order price, now it is 440. Here’s the link: https://velasor.com/models/?lang=en

Beautiful cars but only for the display, I mean who would run them, even at home it would be a risk. So you could buy them as an investment, the ECB lowered the interest again and we are facing a negative interest on our saving accounts Banghead

They certainly look like great models but I too, wouldn't dare to run them. Why bother making them slot cars when they are almost guaranteed to be static?

I would look at Marlon's cars (Shadowfax) if I wanted to have cars of that era on the track.
