Five friends gathered for a 1/24 event at Campbellville Raceway.
The day started off with a "Scratch Built" class. Formerly Boulevard Cruisers. We don't have enough builders to offer more than one class. So, you could run a Sports Car, Boulevard Cruiser, or European scratch built car. The rules for this class are slowly changing/expanding. The only restriction now is a 25k motor max. The host is the rule maker.
Up next were the GT class cars. Scale Auto, BRM, etc. It was nice to see the newest BRM GT40's and a BRM Ferrari 330 P4 race.
Everyone loves the BRM Group-2 class cars. Not overpowered. Very stable on the track. Very few deslots.
Last but not least. An IROC class. The host loves racing these scratch built cars (brass & wire). They are extremely even. The cars are tough as nails. Races are close. These are a blast to race!
Thank you very kindly for looking,
Ken
