Scalextric Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 E2
#1

If speed is second to the right scale, then the Scalextric Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 E2 is the right choice for you.
By now we've become so accustomed to the overly wide models of the 205 that we nearly tend to label the Scalextric interpretation as too narrow.
Only when you compare photos and videos of the real car with the slot car Peugeot and measure them, you'll come to the conclusion that Scalextric has correctly scaled down its 205 T16 E2 32 times.
As you can see from the pictures, the Scalextric Peugeot looks really good.
Here are some pictures of the 3 different Scalextric versions that took part in the WRC:

Very simple: It will not pay off for them. Otherwise they would've done it already.

I too would love to see the 205 return - and wouldn’t it be great if the the 4WD chassis could be incorporated?
The Metro 6R4 is reappearing very soon as part of the Colin McRae 3-car set, so you never know.
