I was lucky enough to have Scalextric in my childhood and now in middle age, a wife who doesn't mind me taking slot racing to a whole new level. My analogue experience reached its peak with my Race of Champions Wembley layout, after which I was seduced by the simulation potential that digital offers. I am often labelled a pedant due to my desire to recreate many of the features of 1:1 motorsport at 1:32 scale.
My portable layouts have allowed me to take slot racing to the public, raise awareness of our hobby and some money for good causes too.
