New to sport- Direction on white kit Slot It Porsche 962
#1

Hello,
I’m currently building a white kit Slot.it 962C (Slot.it SICA17-EC13 Porsche 962 KH 2013 Euro Championship White Kit), but unfortunately, it didn’t come with any directions. I was able to find instructions online for assembling the body, but I’m stuck on the engine and chassis.
In particular, I need help with wiring basics—like which wires are positive and negative from the motor to the guide up front—so the car doesn’t run backwards. (I don’t own a track at home, I just bring the car to events.)
I’ve searched online but haven’t been able to find any build guides specific to the chassis/engine setup, especially for the Slot.it anglewinder motor configuration.
Any guidance or links to detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Fortunately, an inline motored car, like that one, is super easy. Left motor tab to left braid, and right to right. Good to go!

If you get to the track to find it runs in reverse when pointing the correct direction, then you've put the crown gear in the wrong way around, though it shouldn't even fit in that orientation.

A quick test to see if the guide is wired the right way round is to use a PP3 battery, the small 9v rectangular one and touch both braids on the guide with the + on the right side of the guide as you're looking out from the drivers seat so to speak and the - on the left braid, the wheels should spin in the pushing forward direction.

Life is like a box of Slot cars... Cool Drinkingcheers
