This Tucker Torpedo was sourced from eee bay for $10. When it arrived the reason for the low price was apparent! It evidently suffered from smallpox (pinholes galore) as a youngster and led a hard life up to maturity (warped). I gave it care and massage to the best of my ability. The chassis is plywood. The decals are from Slot Car Fever. A Carrera chip was installed and 'exhaust' LEDs were fabricated and attached to the chassis. CB Design 'steelies' provide the glide! What an ugly car but it's cool!

After decals placed acrylic floor polish painted in multiple coats. The windows are from scrap clear vivak stuck in place using RC56 glue. The car runs well. It sure is ugly! Lol

I also have a “Tucker resin body somewhere” kind of making me think I should do something with it.
What a great looking model

I think an actual finishing at all, in one of these cars was a worthy achievement

That's a cool blue Torpedo car! 29th ain't bad even if there were 29 entrants! It almost looks 'wrong way 'round'! I used to race bicycles. Somebody had to be pack fodder!
