your Collection - show it to us
#1

One of my enjoyments is to see what others collect and have in their collections.I think this common among most of us - if you kust look at the social media postings - it is always about, colour, make type etc etc..  essentially a split out of what you own (collect)

I would love to see yours. Yes I know it can be a pain - gotta take photos etc etc - but you gotta love it.

This is not meant as a bragging excercise (although as said we like to show what we have and look at what others have Wavegreen Bigsmile )

I will kick off.
I have gone through several collections before - I started as a collect it all and in every colour collector. But for me that got out of hand.
I Got involved with the vintage scene way back in very early noughties, and that shaped my view.
I loved the scaley set that I started with back in 64 and the cars that came out in that period - so it fitted in with my view of collecting.
I have switched to 98% 70's and before cars, with a few moderns that appeal to me - eg the current WEC. I also essentially collect what I kitbash and make as well as what others have made as well. As said I do have the Scaley cars for the 60s and I do have a penchant for Le mans Miniatures Bigsmile

Here are the pictures of my shelves - any close ups interest you let me know and will add.

BUT - let see yours as well please!! Thumbup Thumbup

Apologies if I duplicated pics - these old eyes Bigsmile

Super nice collection, Anthony.  Checkeredflag

My budget is smaller. So are my cars. Besides, you can fit a lot more HO cars into one pic.  Thumbup

Here is a "deck of cars" so to speak. Exactly 52-cars. The red chassis is supposed to be under the red Vette.

Umm... guilty as charged. Here are some big cars. 1/43 is bigger than 1/64, yes?  Bigsmile

I also have a few 1/25 scale cars. However, not all these cars are mine. I only own two now. I just sold one.

Re-reading the original post, I'm not sure I've done this right...

My Dakar/Extreme vehicles and some odd rally and other cars.

Past/future proxy entries for Graham

Fast cars from Molesey/South Coast events

Worthing Digital cars

Worthing and Slot Rally GB cars

Cars being prepared for Graham's next proxies...mainly yellow and Italian...

Was I meant to unpack them all for the photos?

I love puttering with gears

I humbly apologize that my 1/32 cars are not stored ready to display. These shelves are where the core racers are kept. Scratch built cars are on the bottom shelf. Half the cars on the top shelf are RTR. The cars are sitting on plastic spacers to keep the tires off the shelf. The shelves are close to the ceiling because less dust collects on them this way. Yes, there is a 1/24 240Z sitting with all the 1/32 cars. I had no where else to keep it.

Mostly RTR cars, and a few spare scratch built cars.

Second overflow of cars near the track. The rear end of each car is sitting on a domino game piece to prevent flat tires.

That pretty much sums up most of the cars that run. This does not include the cars/kits on the waiting list. That's another nightmar... I mean story.

Again my apologies that I don't have the space to pull them all out for display.

Thanks for looking,
Ken
