The climax of our 2024 WHO GT Championship is a full day Saturday, featuring a new non-championship GT pairs format in the morning and the Suzuka 1000 in the afternoon.
We've brought in the new format 12 months earlier than planned, so we can have some fun and mull over options for next year...
There will be some loaner cars (ex GT club car rotation) if you don't have a GT car to race.
The format for the 4-hour afternoon team endurance is pretty much the same as the Wednesday evenings, except that every team must share out the number of stints equally between all the drivers...
These are the teams, although there may be some last minute car and personnel changes. John and Alex will be in charge of Écurie Escargot...
Of course, we are racing on Mike's sublime Suzuka layout - one of the highlights of the WHO digital calendar...
Doors open at 10am for practice, the pairs race will start at 10.30, hopefully giving us time for a short break and a second practice session before the GT championship action begins around midday. Entry is £6 adults / £4 under-16s for the full day of racing. We ask that racers aged 13 and under bring a responsible adult with them.
