This Week's News

It's been suggested that it might be a good idea to have somewhere on the forum to post and comment on recent slot car related news, so I thought we'd give it a go.

What follows is what I've put in this week's Digest. Please feel free to discuss. But also please post anything else that might be of interest, or that I might have missed. Checkeredflag

I like Avant Slot's choice of the Nissan 240 RS and especially Terry Kaby's car, but it looks so strange in the photos.
In my opinion is the area of the nose in front of the front wheels too large and the body too high. The wheel arches also differ.
(I compared the sizes with photos of the real car).

Looking forward to the RevoSlot Lauda livery BMW. I already have one made by Spirit which is falling to pieces. Speaking of body height, don't all RevoSlot Classic cars sit way to low?

It's not a car I'm famiar with, but the main thing that struck me was the angle of the windscreen which seems more upright on the model.

You're right. There are many small deviations, which together detract from the similarity with the real car, which is a shame.
