Think scalextric Swiss rally hill climb track for sale
#1

My awesome Swiss rally/hillclimb slot car track is for sale at £1995.00
Built by Think Scalextric in 2021 and was used extensively as a promotional tool by the Swiss Tourist Office at various events in 2022 – you may have seen it, or even had a go, at the Goodwood Revival or Laver Cup

check this page for Think Scalextric's details on it

https://thinkscalextricevents.co.uk/besp...rack-2022/

Even Roger Federer had a go when he was doing some promo work for them, and his autograph appears on the tennis court.
Think Scalextric’s brief was to build a rally track with a flavour of Switzerland, and they achieved this in spades – the level of detail is exceptional. You can spend hours looking at the various dioramas.
It has a railway track as well, but this didn’t work when I bought it, and still doesn’t.
It’s a pleasantly challenging track to drive, and is a great conversation piece even when not in use.
It’s a bespoke built, routed track.
The setup is digital, to enable a car to run back again in the one slot once it gets to the hairpin at the top.
It has DS timing gear with infra-red timing beam.
Comes complete with controller, two Ford Escort MKII’s running digital chips, and two Jaguar E-types also running digital chips.
Also with the leg supports to enable it to sit around 77in off the ground
Dimensions are: 16ft long x 8ft wide
It splits down into 3 8ftx4ft sections for transport, and the legs are detachable.
It can be seen running at my business premises before sale

Video of it running here

loads more photos etc on my company’s  website www.moto-drome.com

Based Henley on Thames RG9 UK

Collection only, and you’ll really need a Luton van and 2 people as at least one of the sections is quite heavy

It’s a magnificent layout and great fun to drive - I had a play at Goodwood Revival a couple of years ago. A bargain price too.

However, it’s not a plug & play Slot Rally track - it’s set up as digital and requires cars to be chipped. That’s the way the builders worked in the single-lane format with return loops. A digital cars can run in both directions on the same power input.

It would be possible to convert it to analogue, but that would be complicated - the main track polarity would need to be reversed every time a car goes round the return loop. My single-lane hill climb could be a basis for the electronics: https://slotracer.online/community/showt...p?tid=2047
