Can anybody help and stop me going mad?
I have an excellent start light Arduino sketch working on pclapcounter , written for me some years ago. Unfortunately I can’t contact the author  anymore . I have managed with great difficulty ( I’m not really  a sketch writer) to modify the sketch to incorporate  two codes to make an oled ssd1331 display flash a green flag , or VSC on track call. I’ve managed to get  the revised sketch to verify,
but the new part , ie the functioning oled display ,is not working.
Any help would be so much appreciated.

Have you tried the official arduino forum yet?

My recent experience with the forum was not good. Basically I was told to go and learn some sketch writing!
