I have a new Carrera digital set up. I'm looking for some F1 cars. Since Carrera doesn't make F1 cars, what are my options?

They've made F1 cars, which you might find on the secondary market, but yeah....
Your best bet is to get one of the other F1 cars on the market, such as from Policar, ScaleAuto, or NSR, and install a third party Carrera Digital compatible chip.
The easiest will be the Policar Monoposto with the slot.it SP43 Carrera Digital compatible chip. It's as plug and play as it gets for third party cars and chips. (see video below).
Next will be either ScaleAuto or NSR cars, with one of the smaller D132 compatible chips, such as the ones from FT Slottechnik. You'll need to do the soldering of wires, but the installation shouldn't be terribly challenging.
