Question Fleischmann tracks
#1
Icons8-race-car-16

Hi everyone,

Being new on this forum I’m not sure if this question has been up for discussion before but I’ll give I a try any way.

Since mid -70s I’ve been a proud owner of a Fleischmann Auto Rally Slot Car track. It has been expanded over the years and now contains something like 75 track pieces (perhaps more). Unfortunately the track has been stored away in the attic for many years but I’ve now decided to bring it back to life. My problem has been, and still is, to find suitable slot cars for the Fleischmann system. I have some original Fleischmann in mint condition but I’m now looking for cars from other brands that are active today in order to re-new my slot car fleet and be able to do so for some time.

My question is: What car manufacturing brands, that are selling slot cars today, in scale 1:32 would be suited for my vintage track system from Fleischmann?

Thanks in advance,
PS, I’m only looking for analog slot cars.

I'm pretty sure any 1:32 scale slot car will work. Pick a manufacturer: NSR, Policar, Slot. It, Thunderslot, Fly, Scalextric, Ninco, RevoSlot, MR Slotcar, Sideways, etc...

Hello Mahan, I have some Fleischmann track and know it well. Although I have an old contemporary power supply unit, I have never used it, but with a Ninco power-pack and controllers I have successfully run Ninco, Carrera, SCX, Slot. It, Scalextric and other cars.
The slot is nice and deep and wide so manufacturers guides are not a problem (not sure about the long Carrera guides, but probably ok). I love the textured surface which gives more grip than Carrera And Scalextric and the rigid construction of the track keeps it in good shape.
The Fleischmann cars are quite slow compared to more modern cars but the track can handle them.

Hello Mahan,

It seems everyone has given you the green light to buy just about anything on the market.

The general rule of thumb now is... Buy one of everything!

Then get back to us and tell us your favorites!  Thumbup

Happy shopping!

Cheers,
Ken

Thanks everyone for the replies. I guess I’m about to open my wallet and purchase some cars.
