After many many years of using Scalextric Sport track in various guises, Viking SCC have taken the plunge and invested in a replacement 6 Lane Policar track!
Installation of the track is nearly complete and initial tests have resulted in very big grins! The overall quality and engineering of the track, and the way in which it goes together is an immediate massive improvement.
More photos and information will be coming soon.

Hello Ade, any noticeable noise from the Policar track? I have noticed the sound of the guide blade running along the slot wall in R1 corners.

Thanks, and yes, as we start looking towards the 2023 calendar there has been talk of arranging a few events. The exact "what and when" is still to be decided but hoping there'll be a few throughout the year

Along the main straight. It's deceptive in the photos but there is a clear walkway through along the back wall with a raised podium for the drivers to stand on
