How long after a car passes over the Arc Pro PB does the lap count increase and the sound FX is heard?
Using Scalextric app or Magic my lag is about 1.5 seconds. Typical?

Yes, pretty much. The timing will be fine, the delay is just updating the display/sound effects. If you have a very short lap, it can be rather disconcerting!

My track is about 18.5m
It is a bit off putting to finish the race and then seconds later hearing the race is over.
…but it’s that’s typical. No problem.
