BRSCC Anglesey Summer Race Weekend
#1

A great weekend of club racing will be streamed live on the British Racing & Sports Car Club Facebook page this weekend. There's an impressive mix of classes over the two days, including a pair of 3 hour Fun Cup Endurance races - the second running into darkness on Saturday evening. Other classes on Saturday include MX-5 Championship and SuperCup, National & Northern Formula Ford and British SuperKarts. All racing in the picturesque surroundings of the Anglesey circuit.

The Saturday Live Stream is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/853310082279789/

Sunday's action adds two races for the Scalextric-sponsored Modified Ford Series - including Andy Pipe's Escort Mk1 that was recently modelled as a slot car (see SlotRacer article here). You can see the Fords in action at 10am, 1pm and 4.50pm. The other class (except the FunCup) also race on Sunday.

The Sunday LIve Stream is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/776928602954617/

There are more details of the weekend, the classes, timetable and live timing here: https://brscc.co.uk/events/anglesey-summ...july-2021/

Andy Pipe's car is ready to go, having been prepared in his dad's garage last weekend...

The Modified Ford Series also races on the BRSCC calendar (with live streaming) at Oulton Park on 14 August and at the Snetterton Caterham weekend in October. They are also at Cadwell Park at the end of July, Brands Hatch in September and at the Silverstone Ford Fair in August. The Series website is here: https://www.modifiedfords.co.uk/

Keep an eye out for Max Esterson, he is driving the Formula Ford my son raced last year for Low Dempsey Racing.  Fun times watching UK racing as it is a very passionate country regarding Motorsports I’ve learned.

Very exciting Brumos! How did you son do last year? The British single-seater ladder has always been the place to be for young drivers... not that I'm biased or anything.

This is what I was referring to as 'picturesque' by the way...

POne win, 2 podiums 8 top 5s and 13 top 10s.  Average field last year was 27 ff1600 so not too bad.
