Truspeed released some pictures of their new top-of-the-range APEX Controller this week...

           

Steve has been busy developing this new high-end analogue controller, which will soon replace the popular PWM II model in the Truspeed range...

Quote:Finally the Apex controller is being rolled out. It has been tested on cars drawing current up to around 5A. When Covid allows, testing on BSCRA type cars will begin. Back orders are being filled and once done, stock will be made available on the website.

The headline features of the new controller are...

  • Fitted with flying wires. Optional integral 3-pin plug fitted for UK market (see picture above)
  • Upgraded to 1/24th BSCRA power handling with a power relay
  • Automatic BRAKE motor speed sense
  • PUNCH control adjustment

  • User-changeable single and double finger trigger
  • 5 12-way rotary controls on the main box (Start speed, Max Speed, Acceleration, Brake and Brake Attack)
  • 3 controls on the handle (Coast Brake,Sensitivity Curve, End Speed)
  • Trigger spring tension adjustment fitted as standard
  • Trigger throw adjustment fitted as standard
  • User replaceable plug-in cable from the handle to the Control Box
