HO parts
#1

hi guys
having purchased the afx jaguar challenge HO set
i thought i would service the cars before i ran them
being new to HO i wasn't a careful as i should have been
and when one of the pickup / brush / ski thingies fell off , the spring underneath went walk about also
found the blade thing , but the spring has pinged away , i cannot find

my question is :-
where can i buy spares for these cars ?
apparently AFX Turbo chassis

also thought i would check if the lights worked on one of the cars
i now know they are 6v , since the 12v tester i used blew the little light board inside the car body
just gotta love learning new lessons  Thumbup

I was recently challenged to investigate HO suppliers. HO proxy drag-racing is a very cool and interesting thing. Yes?  Wrench

I would like to offer special thanks to Chris Walker, Bill Hall, Top Down, and Richard Dumas for their help and inspiration in creating the following list.

HO noobs like myself really need these things.

I'm a bit biased of course, but if you need a fully adjustable wheelbase chassis for diecast conversions and resin bodies, Check out my SL2 chassis on the HWP Slot Cars Shapeways shop. They come in non-mag and tunable traction mag versions and run on N20 can motors. There's also a fixed 1.5" 4 wheel drive model with quad traction mags. Replacement wings for popular vintage Tyco and AFX. And other replacement parts. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/modelshipfittings

My sons and I also make true 1/64 scale pit crew and spectator figures, and unique custom bodies like a proportionately accurate 1/64 Lotus 33-inspired F1. If you're on facebook, stop by https://www.facebook.com/HWPSlotCars/

I sell direct using payPal or through my seller page on feeBay at: https://www.ebay.com/sch/flybyj1/m.html

Coming soon:
P-34 Elf and Lola T-90
