Jason. Thank you very kindly for all your hard work behind the scenes. I can't disagree with the choices. However, it's missing a car or two. So I thought I would add at least one. This was one of my favorites too.  Thumbup

Similarly, I can't disagree with any of your choices.

I remember Ken's Eldorado for it's size, and for the use of sub-woofers to hide the motor!

One of the car releases of the year that struck a cord with me was this one from Modelant...

I love puttering with gears

Thank you Ken, very kind of you.

Jeremy, good call. Forgetfullness was probably the only reason it didn't get a mention.

Thank you David. Seeing high quality scratch built work always gives me a huge amount of pleasure, whether it's bodies, chassis, tracks or scenery. It may not be the mainstream of our hobby, but I think it may be the pinnacle, in my humble opinion.

Alan, very much appreciated, and I look forward to more reviews. They're very valuable, but unfortunately they are increasingly rare these days, so thank you for making the effort.

Great review of the year Jason - I can't disagree with any of your choices Thumbup

Despite everything that's been going on in 2020, our hobby, the industry and this site have flourished this year. Time with slot cars has been a welcome distraction, whether people have had time on their hands or are returning from a gruelling shift on the front line.

My normal racing year was brief - January to March - but in that time, the club celebrated its tenth anniversary and I really enjoyed the SRC Porsche 914 enduro at Nascot Wood...

And then it was a busy year of proxy racing - NTRA HO drag racing in the States, starting our own UK HO drag racing along the wall in my office and my first SlotRally event - the Wye Valley Winter Stages. A surprisingly good year of racing - different, but most enjoyable.

I am really looking forward to getting back to club racing at the Barn - but only when we can do so safely and all together. It is reassuring that we have socially-distant options to fill in while we're waiting. There may be light at the end of the tunnel with the pandemic, but I suspect we still have a long way to go.

My main award for the year goes to the Green Monster! Perhaps not that relevant to most of you as it's in France but not only is it one of the best tracks I have raced on, it provided the only race meeting that we managed here this year. The withdrawal symptoms are becoming a bit serious now. For all the stuff I make, it's the racing that matters to me and that's what I make them for Thumbup
