Another pie in the eye of the slot car selling organisers of Gaydon - they really shouldn’t have turned down the idea when it was put to them.

Instead of visiting Gaydon once this year I will have visited the virtual slot fest twice.

Here's what's going on this weekend from the various traders...

At George Turner Models we will be offering a 10% discount on orders over £100 and free postage on all orders (including international and domestic) from 12.00am Saturday the 7th of November until 11.59pm Sunday the 8th of November.

To go along with this we are releasing two new models as well. For the Edwardian range will be a period Mercedes, and the long awaited 1930s Fiat Balilla Berlinetta. The Fiat was started about 5 years ago so it has taken a little while to get around to completing, whereas the Mercedes was started 5 weeks ago. Both look stunning though.

RS Slot Racing is already digging through the stock boxes, so not only will we be offering 10% discount on our resin kits, there's going to be some silly prices on manufactured slot cars too!

The weekly MRE Slot Newsletter has just gone out tonight as usual. Customers will be able to see the way to find all of our BONFIRE BONANZA Special Offers if they read it - but as you are such a nice lot on here as well we will tell you the codeword on Friday night before the sale starts at 00.01 on Saturady morning...
