Hi, my name is Nicolas and I have a boyish infatuation with slot cars. At this stage I collect cars, track pieces (Scalextric and Carrera) and sets to enjoy at a later time - hopefully in the not too distant future … looking forward to reading your posts and gaining some much needed expertise.

Hello Nicolas. Infatuation is a very strong word! That must mean you spend every penny on good looking cars!
Just curious how many sets do you currently have of each? And cars?

Welcome to the forum!
I understand you completely! I love looking for cheap track and getting a bargain, even though I prefer racing on wood and have a load of plastic track already!
I have a Le mans classic scalextric piece as well as the classic pit lane pieces. One day I'd like to frame them and put them on a wall above a track in my man cave!

Something like that
... One large Carrera set that I set up for weekend fun (not often enough) and the equivalent of 8 Scalextric sets that are stored in plastic crates for future projects ...
