NSR Mosler MT900R 7th Anniversary Salvatore Noviello #64
#1

NSR0128AW  Mosler MT900R 7th Anniversary Salvatore Noviello #64. RRP £69.99

To mark the seventh anniversary of the death of company-founder and slot car champion Salvatore Noviello, NSR have released this special edition Mosler MT900R. It is now available in the UK.

The NSR Mosler is the ultimate performance slot car. It was the first car produced by NSR, appearing in April 2006 and soon dominated plastic-chassis slot car racing around the world. NSR have continued to develop the components and it remains the car to beat - a real testament to Salvatore Noviello's founding vision and design skills.

Underneath the commemorative body shell, the Evo5 chassis and Evo5 anglewinder motor mount holds the latest Evo3 21.4k rpm King motor.

Salvatore - pictured below with the NSR team in 2010 - designed a real gem with the NSR Mosler and this new livery is a fitting tribute.

The car is available now for £62.95 at Pendle Slot Racing: www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/nsr-mosler-mt900r-no-64-salvatore-noviello-7th-anniversary

Thanks to NSR for the photos.

Should every true slot car racer own a Mosler?

(just looking for an excuse to own one...)

Hi,

The NSR Mosler dominates the Wales and West series in Open Class.
There is 3 races on Ninco tracks and 3 on wood tracks.

The only other cars people use are :-
Slot it Porsche GT1/98
Slotting Plus Reynard
Slot it LMP’s
NSR GT3’s

Most people run them in pretty much out the box spec ie Black chassis, King 21 etc.

Definitely worth getting one. ?

And they gave gone with wider rear tyres for this year's model.

I say model, but looking on the NSR website, there are about 8 variants of the car, mainly based around different motor pod configurations.

So much choice!

NSR Mosler designed by Gio Montiglio,
Back row, middle, in the pic above
The cars that Giovanni designed have "NSR by GM" on the chassis and are still the majority of NSR's offerings.

Gio left NSR and created Thunder Slot after the death of Salvatori.

The Mosler is a dead cert "Must Have" for any 1/32 hardbody racer.
Collectable? Probably not. There are more special edition moslers than  I can count.

Instead of a special edition at £69 , you could get the  lightweight angle winder version with a pre coloured body shell  for £49 from topslots 'n' trains.
