The Scaleauto AW long can setup is great for a longer, more high speed flowing track. And they may do well with magnets on a plastic track. But on my 40ft. wood track the extra weight in the rear compared to an FC-130 short can makes it slide excessively in the twisty section which slows the transition between turns. So I routinely switch to a 25K short can like the Predator BB or NSR Shark.

I my rush to end this nightmare of a decal job I forgot to place the final windshield Motorsport banner. Some Sol-set tomorrow should help it conform to the central ridge in the windshield.

The NSX I had been working on for the club races this year is now out with the club members and being prepared for this years race series.  So now I can focus on my build for it as the concept model has servered it's purpose and will now join the material test body drawer.

This is now being used in 1/28 scale to allow better racing at the club track as the 1/24 was a little too wide for the tight track as this is for magless races.  Currently sitting on the 1/24 plafit chassis and getting some new parts to reduce the wheel base and smaller wheels to match the body size.

I figure with my build and racing skill I will be at the back chasing the pack, so may as well dress the part :)

Picked up a Scaleauto body carrying my favourite livery from a mate and, as is my current mantra, I'm building it up with spare bits on my workbench to race at a local club in the Spring...

You don't often read of the AMG doing well in GT races, so this could end up as one of those stories where running one of you favourite 1:1 cars in slot form results in disappointment.

Any idea what these are for?

I need two for a car, the others will be spares.

It's an idea that came to me today, I don't know why I didn't think of it before.

Finally got to gluing the foam tires to the aluminum rims. I used the tire truer for the first time, need to make some modifications because I don't think it was meant to true a tire in this way...
