It is indeed, Anthony.
I brought 25 of my least favorite muscle car kits to the flea market last Saturday and sold 20 of them. That's good. I can't possibly build them all.
Being at a flea market, was I able to resist temptation? No. Of course not. This Fujimi kit ended up coming home with me.
I have another Ferrari 250 GTO. But the doors and hood open which means I would need to seal the car shut before making it into a slot car. The Fujimi kit is a one piece body.

And it still continues.
I had to make a rule for myself concerning buying new muscle car kits. Only buy kits I've actually owned as 1:1 cars.
A lot of Dodge and Chrysler kits will be for sale at the next flea market. Many of the old Fords are already gone.
The rule concerning buying new supercar kits? Buy everything that looks good!
Thank you very kindly for looking,
Ken

I attended a Group-25 modeller's club Christmas meeting today. It was a great feast!
I had no intention of buying anything. But you know how it goes. See something cheap and... mine!
I quickly reminded myself about the rule for buying new kits. Only buy what I've owned as a 1:1. Well... my friend had this car. Does that count?
These are only 1/43. But I've already converted a 1/43 kit into a slot car. These two kits were cheaper than dirt because nobody wanted them.
Thank you very kindly for looking,
Ken

I had to take my wife to an appointment today. It was about 35-minutes away. There's a hobby shop near there called Dailey Hobbies.
The taxman just gave Canada a break. No sales tax on toys, etc.
I'm eyeing a Monogram 1/24 kit. My wife says "Merry Christmas".
Obviously she doesn't know the rule about only buying kits of 1:1 cars I've owned. I think I can forgive her.
There's a new buzz in the basement. Eh voila.

I had one of these in red with a 455 cubic inch big block. It passed everything on the road except a gas station.
I reluctantly sold it to a friend. He wrote it off two years later.
This kit just arrived yesterday.

I have a new friend that happens to be a model car kit dealer. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet. He seems to think it's great.
I had to buy both brands to see which one I prefer.
I prefer the Tamiya. One piece body/roof.
Then he says "Do you like Ferraris?" I say "No! why? what do you have?" Oh crap... It's time to check my pockets for extra cash.
Restistance is futile. Especially if it's a Ferrari.

I went by the hobby shop today. The only thing I can say in my defense is "oops".
I got my licence in a 4-cyl Vega (not the V8 pro-stock drag racer). But, they look the same.

Can I get a pass for this one here? Not a car, but a heck of a long build.
1/32 scale so plan is to use to display with one of my retired cars.
