\one of slot.it flat motors? Would that work?

I was trying to avoid going to a slimline or Flat6 but that may be what is needed.

I am trying to make it work in the Fly Classics class so the flat 6 is too hot.  If the custom motor plates doesn't work then an 18k FF050 will have to do and I will have to gear it appropriately.

I already run a 312P coupe and have the Alpine Renault A442, I just wanted to have an option for a different 917.

finally got around to building this little George Turner Lotus Elan , i received as a prize from one of Graham's proxies couple years ago

PCS wheels , tyres and minilite resin inserts , paint is what i had laying around but turned out real nice imo

the supplied interior and glazing were a very nice fit

the stance of the car using the supplied resin chassis was awful , i 3DP'd my own chassis and that transformed the stance , fixed the front axle wobble and lateral movement , guide is an old scally guide , slot.it 9/27 gearing

but lowering the stance meant that the old 15k s-can motor i used was a very very snug fit , runs well enough , but body float is Zero!
obviously the reason for the supplied chassis higher stance
will have to redesign the chassis for either a slim can or a flat 6
which as a bonus should be easy to adapt for a little Honda S600 kit I've had laying around for ever

Just come OFF my bench, this HO scale US1 Trucking/Matchbox Convoy conversion.

The cab was a 'rescue job'. A rather play/raceworn Kenworth Cabover, cleaned up with the cab then sprayed Royal Blue, the floor/chassis sides/motor cover satin black and chrome fittings robbed from other sad and battered cabovers.

The trailer comprises the skeletal remains of a US1 flatbed fitted to the underside of a modified Matchbox Convoy trailer.

Quite pleased with the result.  Thumbup
